I just remembered what my best friend told me a few nights ago. 
It was an answer to "The Curse"... MY curse.

See, i've always said that i believe i have this curse... It has happened more than once and it just keeps on happening again and again. Fate always gets the best of me. I fall for someone only to end up being the reason and/or the cosmic connection to lead them to fall for one of my friends (or someone else i know.) Yeah, that old "chick-flick" drama does actually translate into real life for some people...




Well, it got brought up on one of our nieva conversations and my best friend said:

"Di mo naman kasi pinaglalaban... ipaglaban mo!"
Then i asked him, "Pano mo ipaglalaban ang isang taong di ka naman gusto?"




It's not as easy as it seems!

One HECTIC day. We literally experienced a day in the life of Cathy Binag.

Our boss' first ever fashion show... It was the first collection she ever made to be displayed on the runway. FASHION FOR PASSION was the name of the event. And on the morning of that day... the collection still wasn't finished. Of course, being the ordinary mortals that we are, we would've already panicked in this situation. But miss cathy being the gorgeous monster that she is, panic wasn't even an option... YET.

That day we were able to take a van, then a pajero, then another van around pasig, mandaluyong, qc, pasig, and back to qc again. We ran around everywhere like crazy people... MISS CATHY STYLE. Damn, twas really a hectic day. Talk about a wake up call to what miss cathy really does. It's not rocket science, but it could be close... ^_-

Fortunately, the show was a success. Hands down, no bias, she presented the best collection! It was all relatively wearable, it was cohesive and all models ended up looking prettier than they already were. AMAZING i tell you. It was one hell of an exciting and fruitful night...

...no better way to end it than a midnight bulgogi feast. YUM! ^_^

I woke up terribly sick.

And the sound of my tita's voice telling me there was no work because of the storm was music to my ears.

Still no electricity... still sick as hell... but there was no rain. TIME TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. ^_-

Being the garls that we are, sheena and i decided to meet up at the office regardless of the fact that there was no electricity. Anything was better than staying at home. And so we spent our day in the office with our chips, cigs and agua to accompany us... As well as the nice people of josol to chat with. (haaay. so cute... and so married. :c )

After office hours, sheena and i decided to meet up with lance at galle. Unfortunately, lance's 7:15 became 8:00 which finally became 8:30. In those idle times we managed to waste 50 pesos each to charge our friggin' phones for one hour. And in even more boring moments, we made a fool of ourselves with my camera. OF COURSE, it was all lance's fault. *pbffft!*

They drove me home after... only to text me later that lance didn't want to go home yet so they went to katipunan instead. HAH! Takeshi's castle na ito! Tumakas ako ng bahay habang wala mommy ko. heheh. Well, not exactly coz i told my aunt i was going to seattle's best. :p there's still not enough bad blood in me to sneak out completely... i may try, but i will not succeed. ^_-

For hours we slacked at seattle's best. And upon entering our village on the way home, i took the wheel from lance. WAHOO! it was the most successful driving experience i've ever had! i didn't hit anything, i turned successfully, i didn't jump through any humps, and it was the first time i was able to focus enough to use the signal lights. hahahahah!

That night was the best!

And then there was light... at the office that is. ^_- buti na lang wala kaming magawa ni sheena sa bahay at naisipan naming tumamabay na naman dito. heehee. ^_-

We met up with lance again. He dropped by the office after we pimped our air conditioning and internet. hahah. There was still no electricity in teacher's village at that time.

Boredom carried us to Mister Kabab. We strategically sat at the corner table to avoid squinting to see the food under the candles. YES, the resto had no electricity... and yet the people still flocked there to eat. Teh food iz gooood. ^_-

On the way home, we were able to see the bigger "damage". Big meralco posts were sprawled across the quezon ave-timog area. Ginormous posts, not the scrawny ones we still had standing on our street. It was a scary sight man... damn milenyo. There was even a billboard stand in libis that fell on a bunch of houses. I also heard that some billboard in maga fell on a bus and another in guadalupe killed someone.

As if that wasn't bad enough, milenyo called up his posse before he left the friggin' country. Yup, more storms to come. -_-

well, in all fairness to her, she's always been a talent.
i hope she gets even better so she could make it to the end.



*hay* school spirit still gets the best of me.
no matter how annoyed i am, i still want her to do well in this thing...

that girl, ms. tourism 2006, although i didn't know her then as the way she is now [i.e. she's gone wild!], she WAS a schoolmate and i STILL think she deserved to win the crown during the miss earth pageant... LUTO! but anywho, she won miss tourism this year anyway so, GO PAME! ^_-




hayun. i might have to drop by the acquaintance party tomorrow... we have a meeting with ate ann set right before it starts... strategies. tsktsk. :p but on second thought, i heard there was free food... soooooooooooooo, yeah. not so bad. heehee.

my iAcademy barkada threw me a "surprise" karaoke party the day after my 20th birthday. [the quotes are there for a reason... hahah. sino kaya yung nadulas? :p]




it was a momentous night:

- + - it was my first official night out as a 20 year old...
- + - it was the first time aeo was able to take the innova and drive it with us...
- + - it was the first time ANY OF US [other than the MARINO boys]
....... have ever been to such a place. :p

- + - it was the first time sheena posed for TONS of pictures... hahah!
- + - and another first of friendship...




ha-ah-ay. thanks guys, sobra! we've all been busy with our internships but you still managed to make it and stay until 4 friggin' am! heheh. happy birthday to me. ^_-

pat and a bunch of his friends shot a music video last saturday... it's for this really cool pinoy band... they haven't released an album yet, but their first single is seriously AWESOME! Just their sound on its own is already impressive to listen to... add the kick ass lyrics and you've got one great package. Dogfight by Plane Divides the Sky... watch out for it on MTV. i saw the stills already, and i doubt it's going to be less than amazing..!



am going to school tomorrow... leche. of all the days they could schedule this school year's audition, they just had to schedule it tomorrow. beeatches. hahah. oh well anyway, i hope they do good... actually, i hope they do BETTER than ever. we need all the help and support we can get... hayayay. another year, another year...

it's my 2nd movie-tandem dream come true... hahah... black snake moan is lead by Samuel L. Jackson, but will also have [woohoo] miss Ricci and Justin Timberlake in the main cast. although i highly doubt that jt will deliver a commendable performance, i'd still pay to see it once it comes. heehee.




my number one movie-tandem dream is yet to be seen.... sana. sana. sana magkaron na rin. ^_-
